Northeastern MS/HS

The Lady Knights traveled to Straughn, IN to take on the Titans of Tri High for what would essentially decide the winner of the TEC. Northeastern jumped out to a 6-0 lead behind a couple of fast break layups but the Titans countered and led 12-11 after the 1Q. Northeastern could never quite find their rhythm in the first half and trailed by 8 going into the break. The Knights were down by double digits at a couple different points in the second half but never quit. Northeastern was able to cut the deficit to just 1 with just under a minute remaining in the game. After missing a couple key free throws down the stretch, the Lady Knights fell just short of completing the comeback. They fall to 12-7 on the season and dropped their first game of Conference play.
